Barcelona have announced that goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto is to sign a new contract in the coming weeks.

Pinto's current deal was due to expire at the end of the season but he has now agreed terms on a deal that will tie him to the club until June 2014.
The 37-year-old joined Barca from Celta Vigo in 2008, initially on loan, and has provided cover for Victor Valdes.
He has managed 54 first-team appearances during his time with the club, largely due to his position as first-choice goalkeeper in the Copa del Rey, which he won in 2009 and 2012.
